Mount Zion Baptist Church is

Baptist denomination. We
have a long and unique story.
In 1843, in a wilderness area
of the young state of
Mississippi, this church was
organized. When you consider
all of the events and changes
since then, it is easy to see

the power of God leading and preserving this body of believers. Even
now,God is still at work and Mt. Zion has as many active members as
ever!
The goal and purpose then and now has been to worship God and
share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our hope and plan to keep this
congregation vibrant and busy imitating Jesus until He comes for His
Church.
In recent years, we have embraced the following core values:
-We will seek to honor God by following His Word and daily look for
Divine avenues to accomplish His work.
-We will show compassion to the entire Body of Christ and to the
world around us.
-We will live united and be accountable to each other as we grow in
faith and understand God’s purpose for our lives.
-We will tell everyone of the power of God and the Way to be
reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ His son.
